What I Did This Morning
I am seriously contemplating not leaving the apartment today. Sure, the sun is shining but I would have to get dressed and that seems like just way too much effort.
On the Mall
I am still tired. But we have our work holiday party tonight so I’m sure I will perk up.
Walking the 3rd Street Tunnel
I walked over 8 miles today. Walking the 3rd Street Tunnel to be able to get North from the Mall was both very creepy and amazingly cool.

Relocated for the Inauguration
Connie and William’s encampment has been moved to the back corner of the square for the inauguration. The White House Anti-Nuclear Vigil has been on the Pennsylvania front edge of the park in front of the White House for decades. Their normal spot has grandstands build on it. They will move back once the stands and barricades are down.
I Have No Idea
Just driving around San Angelo, Texas and I spot a dinosaur in someone’s yard. No idea what it is doing there but it looks a bit lonely with only the old cars to keep it company.
New Year’s Day Sunshine
Lovely outside today while the sun was still up. Best kind of day to walk across Key Bridge to Georgetown.
