I decided to ignore both march events in downtown DC and head up the Green and Yellow lines to Columbia Heights Day. Hard to go wrong with a neighborhood festival that includes a petting zoo.

Every time I see a tiger I just want to pet it like it was an overgrown house cat. Luckily that is never an option so I don’t have to work hard to stop myself.

Excellent show at the 9:30 Club. The band played close to three hours. I was exhausted but very happy at the end.
