Columbia Heights Day
I decided to ignore both march events in downtown DC and head up the Green and Yellow lines to Columbia Heights Day. Hard to go wrong with a neighborhood festival that includes a petting zoo.
Cooling Off
Every time I see a tiger I just want to pet it like it was an overgrown house cat. Luckily that is never an option so I don’t have to work hard to stop myself.
Marilyn Monroe meets Mark Twain
Drive By Truckers
Excellent show at the 9:30 Club. The band played close to three hours. I was exhausted but very happy at the end.
End of the Night
Animal Kingdom at night after a storm. I was thankful for the rain as I suspect without the light reflecting off the pavement it would have been too dark to take this shot.
The Chef Offers Us the Cheese Plate
Back from another trip to Disney World. Ratatouille visited our table while we dined in France at Epcot.
Field
Field of tulips surrounding the Downing Urn in the Smithsonian’s Enid A. Haupt Garden
I love tulips and springtime in Washington DC is full of them.
Holy Week Monday
Passed by St Matthews on my way to happy hour.
If You Lose, the Dinosaur Eats You
Bender! On the orange line!
Some days I truly love riding public transportation.
